For those of you who may have been concerned my friends and I survived Las Vegas. Now that I’m back lets get right back to business as thing’s are about to get very interesting in the TUF house. With one fight to go in the first round this Friday, the quarter finals and Iaquinta’s next fight is right around the corner. Chris Saunders made things very interesting in the tournament last Friday with a big upset win over Sam Sicilia. Look for an episode recap from Friday on here later today.
Now although some of you all ready know about it, let’s talk a little bit about the two pictures above and below. Before I left town last week I asked Urijah Faber via twitter if he’d want me to bring him an Iaquinta Nation T-Shirt. He said yes so I brought two shirts with me so he could give one to Al as well. Once my friends and I got into town being the stealthy people that we are we found out where the guys trained at. We took a shot and headed over that way in hopes to catch Al or Faber. After waiting for about twenty minutes we were told by some film crew we had to leave the area. As we started to walk down the road we saw the van turn down the street that takes Team Faber to practice. As the van approached us we could hear Al yelling and banging on the window. “Yo Yo Yo Stop Stop!” The Van stopped for a few seconds as we waited from about 30 feet away, but then continued on down the block up to the training facility. Just in case we waited there and to our surprise Al came running towards us. We met him halfway and you could quickly see the shock on his face that we were there. He gave all of us a hug. There weren’t many words exchanged as this all took place over about ten seconds. My friend Doug told him he was killing it and to keep up the good work. I told him to go back as we didn’t want to get him in trouble, but gave him two Iaquinta Nation T- Shirts for him and Faber. Even though it happened so quickly I think it really made Al’s day, and it definitely made all of ours. It was awesome to get to see him.
Later on Faber posted a picture on twitter letting everyone know that “Al’s buddies came through with the shirts as promised.” The second picture was one Al posted himself on twitter yesterday. He wrote “I have the best friends in the world, @MattPel show the boy’s what’s hanging over my bed.”
Much more on here all week so be sure to keep checking back. I’m around all week so if you didn’t get an Iaquinta Nation T-Shirt yet lets make that happen!

the t-shirts look great on them. I hope we have a hundred crazy fans wearing the shirts at McCanns here in NY in a few weeks when Al fights again!
