Following an impressive knock out win over Mark Munoz, Al’s Serra Longo teammate Chris Weidman has since been sidelined following surgery on a torn labrum. Weidman was injured while training for his fight against Tim Boetsch. Many people, as well as Weidman himself believe he should be the next in line for a shot at Anderson Silva’s middle weight title. Although Weidman may not be the biggest name in the middle weight division, there’s no denying that he’s the most deserving of a shot, especially with Micheal Bisping’s recently losing to Vitor Belfort.
