This weeks episode revolved mostly around the upcoming fight between Joe Proctor and Chris Tickle. If you’ve been watching you knew this episode was going to be an interesting one, mostly because of all the controversy around Chris Tickle. The drama started up very quickly as it became quite clear that Tickle was drunk during the Chiesa, Larsen fight. It was obvious to everyone on both teams the state he was in. Iaquinta went on to comment to Proctor and some other teammates that “Tickle was hammered at the fight tonight, when he wakes up in the morning and finds out he’s going to fight Proctor he’s going to shit himself.” Continue Reading

While discussing the great training behind Al Iaquinta in the past weeks there’s two names that are always a staple in the conversation. Those names are Ray Longo and Matt Serra. Yet there’s one name that should be thrown in the mix that is equally important and that’s Eric Hyer. Eric is Al’s Muay Thai coach, and has been a critical part of helping Al improve his game over the years.

Urijah Faber needed someone to play the part of stopper last night after finding his team down 0-2 to Team Cruz. He had the perfect guy to play that part in Al Iaquinta who never disappoints. Iaquinta came as advertised and although he may have started out slow in the first round, he turned it on and picked up the pace in the second and third sudden victory round. Al scored a big win, first and foremost for himself, as well as Team Faber. Congratulations to Al who’s hard work advances him to the quarter finals. Here’s how it all went down.
