“I just need to go out there, dominate, and finish quick.” It may have taken till 3:34 in the second round but Al Iaquinta did just that last night. Dominate. After a first round that went back and fourth it was Iaquinta who turned it on in the second, scoring a big TKO win over Joe Lauzon. It was a combination followed by a big right hand that stung Lauzon, leaving him staggering around the octagon attempting to hang on. Iaquinta remained calm picking his shots. The referee was forced to jump in and stop the fight. Lauzon was out on his feet, and Iaquinta was victorious. Continue Reading

Confidence. It’s one of the most important attributes a fighter can bring into the octagon. The battle can be drawing that fine line between confident and cocky. One of the most important keys to Al Iaquinta’s knock out over Ross Pearson was just that. Confident, but never cocky. The other? This isn’t a fighter who should be taken lightly. He isn’t anyones stepping stone in this division. In his past two fights “Raging” Al has shown he brings knock out power to the table. In less then two weeks he’ll look to bring that same knock out power against Joe Lauzon at UFC 183. Continue Reading

The fight has the makings to be a classic. As always be sure to check here for articles, interviews, T-shirt sales, and much more.
