Get excited everyone it’s Fight Week! As always McCann’s Pub and Grill in Massapequa (5590 Merrick Rd, Massapequa, New York 11758) is the number one local spot to watch all UFC’s as well as Al’s fights. Come down this Friday to watch Iaquinta vs. Pearson LIVE at McCann’s. The deal will be $45 open bar( $5 goes to waitresses and bartenders) from 10pm-1am. There will be some appetizers put out as well. You can check out some more information on the Facebook event. Please feel free to come down and support Al even if you aren’t participating in the open bar. All are welcome. Looking forward to seeing everyone at McCanns.

Happy Monday everyone. I’ve had some people asking me about video from Al’s fight. The fight isn’t on UFC Fight Pass yet, but here’s a link where you can watch the fight. Once again Iaquinta Nation, it’s Fight Night. Tonight LIVE from the Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Al Iaquinta will take on Rodrigo Damm in what will be a very important match up for both fighters. The younger Iaquinta will come in looking to bounce back against a tough Brazilian opponent in Rodrigo Damm. Iaquinta has rebounded well following a loss so far in his career, something he hasn’t had to deal with very often. “I guess it’s one of those things you have to chalk up to experience” Iaquinta said discussing his loss to Mitch Clarke in May. “Some guys don’t get caught, and I have to become one of those guys.” Iaquinta went on “ That guy shouldn’t have lasted the first round with me.” Continue Reading

On September 5th Al Iaquinta(8-3-1) will step back into the octagon against Rodrigo Damm(12-7). The fight will take place at Foxwoods Resorts and Casino in Connecticut as well as LIVE on Fox Sports 1. Both Iaquinta and Damm will enter the fight with a bit of a chip on their shoulders, both coming off somewhat surprising losses. Iaquinta being chocked out via D’Arce by Mitch Clarke, and Damm lossing to Rashid Magomedov by unanimous decision. Before that, both fighters we’re riding respected win streaks that came to a halt. Look for Iaquinta and Damm to both be highly motivated and looking to get back into the win column at UFC Fight Night 50. Continue Reading

In case you missed it over the weekend, Al Iaquinta vs. Rodrigo Damm has been added to UFC Fight Night on September 5th. The event will take place at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut. The event will be on a rare Friday night, directly competing with a Bellator card scheduled for that evening as well. Both Iaquinta and Damm will look to bounce back following a tough loss in their previous fights. An important fight for both competitors as they will look to prove they’re still at the top of the division. Just a small bump in the road for Iaquinta during his last fight. Expect to see a focused and motivated fighter come out looking to send a message in September.

Once again Iaquinta Nation it’s fight night(forgive this post for being a few days early but I’m off to Vegas and will be without a computer for a few days). Kicking off this Saturday’s Fox Sports 1 Prelims will be Al Iaquinta taking on Mitch Clarke. Iaquinta comes in with a three fight win streak, and has shown how much his skill set has improved since his year layoff following TUF Live. Clarke who has had a difficult time staying healthy himself, will square off against a focused and motivated Iaquinta.

Fight after fight Iaquinta has been able to dominate each fighter he’s faced. He fought smart, efficiently, and out worked each of his respected opponents. Fight by fight he has been faced with different challenges and was able to come out victorious each time. Very quietly, some seemed to feel, Al beat some very tough young opponents. Continue Reading

Saturday 5/24- UFC Fight Pass Early Prelims 6:30pm ET – UFC Fight Pass

UFC Prelims: Iaquinta vs. Clarke- LIVE on Fox Sports 1 8:00pm ET

UFC 173: Barao vs. Dillashaw – LIVE on PPV 10:00pm ET
